How did Bluff come about? Well, a few guys got together and thought that they could give the new generation of poker enthusiasts a better read than anybody else. They knew the gambling business, poker and publishing, and they all fancied themselves pretty clever in their micro-disciplines. Two of the triumvirate dumped their steady paychecks to give Bluff their all, while the third (that’s me), jumped on board this screaming train and poured my heart into the furnace to make it go faster.

So what happens next? That’s up to you. You say you like poker. You say you want to be a big dog on the circuit. You say you want to pack in your job and join the Vegas high life. If this is true, then we have a magazine that should make us millions….but, if you’re half-assed about your poker, then we might be in trouble.
